About Maintara

Routine maintenance, made simpler.

Maintara offers monthly membership plans that help homeowners organise minor property maintenance and general household repairs, with a defined allowance of visits and transparent rates for everything else.
Our mission

Make looking after your home predictable.

Small jobs around the house add up: a dripping tap, a sticking door, a loose fitting. Finding someone reliable for each one takes time. A Maintaramembership gives you a set number of maintenance visits each 12-month membership period, and one place to send your requests.

We're open about how it works. You'll know how many visits you have, how many you can use each month, what an included visit covers, and what costs extra before any work goes ahead.

How we work

We coordinate. Qualified people do the work.

Maintara coordinates work through its own staff and/or approved contractors. When you request a visit, we check your allowance, whether the job is eligible and who's available, then match it to someone suited to the job.

Approved contractors

Work is assigned to our staff or approved contractors, subject to availability.

The right qualifications

Regulated work, like electrical work, is done only by suitably qualified and authorised people.

Every job recorded

We keep a record of each job, including approvals for any extra costs.

Reliable

A clear process for every request, and a record of every job.

Clear

Prices, limits and conditions stated up front, not hidden in small print.

Approachable

Plain language and a straightforward way to ask for help.

What Maintara isn't: an insurer. The membership is a maintenance service. It doesn't pay for damage or replacement costs. See what's covered.
